How it all started...
Our church began in 1925 with a group of people committed to living the Gospel in light of the Word of God. By 1937, The Mennonite Brethren Church of Dinuba had built a gathering place on the corner of El Monte and Nichols Avenues, a church campus we continue to use for the glory of God today.
The spirit of evangelism that launched our church persisted as we planted daughter congregations in Visalia (Neighborhood Church), Kingsburg (Hope Kingsburg), and a Spanish-language church in Dinuba (Calvario Community Church). We also sent missionaries to Japan, Paraguay, Portugal, and other places, including through video ministries that have reached the world. Today our missionaries serve in Peru, Thailand and Southeast Asia, San Francisco, and locally through partnerships with Youth for Christ, Open Gate Ministries, and more.

Where we are headed...
In 2019 we changed our name to New Life Community to better reflect the vision God has given us in our community. Then we got to work. We intentionally shifted into transformational community ministries, leading 100s of people to Jesus, helping them with finances, housing, food, recovery from addictions, healing, and hope. And the community noticed, naming us Non-Profit of the Year!
Today we reflect our community much more as a diverse family of faith, continuously transformed by Jesus Christ, and devoted to authentically loving God, each other, and our community. We believe God is at work in our community and we have said "yes" to joining him, for the praise of his glory!
