The Home Resource Center exists to support individuals and families at Open Gate and throughout our community by meeting practical household needs with dignity and care. Through the collection and distribution of gently used furniture and essential home items, the Center helps create safe, functional, and welcoming living spaces for individuals and families transitioning into housing or facing financial hardship.

We rely on the generosity of community partners, donors, and professionals who help make this work possible. In addition to financial contributions, we gladly accept donations of quality, gently used household items, and we offer convenient pickup of approved donated items when needed. These donations directly impact neighbors in our community by turning unused items into meaningful support for families rebuilding stability.

More than just a place to give or receive items, the Home Resource Center serves as a hub of hope and connection, partnering with local organizations, volunteers, and donors to come alongside neighbors, restore stability, and strengthen families as they build a foundation for a better future.
