A Ministry of New Life Community (NLC) – A Dinuba MB Church
The Home Resource Center exists to receive household item donations from individuals who are relocating or updating their homes and to distribute those items to families in urgent need. As a ministry of New Life Community Church, the Center works closely with community partners and agencies, such as Open Gate, to listen for specific needs and thoughtfully match those needs with received donations. The Home Resource Center helps create safe, functional, and welcoming living spaces for individuals and families transitioning into affordable housing or facing financial hardship by meeting practical household needs with dignity and care.
Items most needed include gently used furniture and essential home items such as mattresses, beds, and bedding. Kitchen items of all kinds are greatly needed, and some appliances can be accepted as well.
To remove barriers and make donating as easy as possible, the Center provides pick-up and delivery of approved items as needed.
Cash donations are also urgently needed, as certain items such as bunk beds and bedding often must be purchased due to limited availability through donations. New Life Community Church, the parent organization of the Home Resource Center, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and all donations are tax-deductible.
More than just a place of receiving and giving, the Home Resource Center serves as a hub of hope and connection, partnering with New Life Community Church and its members who are available to pray with recipients and offer encouragement and counsel as families rebuild stability.
