connect with God's Word

PC: Pastor Brad Isaak, Amelia Villarreal, and Aneesa Moreno
Over 30 people joined us on Wednesday evening to explore what it means to practice community in the Christian life.
A special thank-you goes out to our amazing volunteers who cared for our 2nd grade and under kiddos, allowing parents to fully participate in this practical study. The children enjoyed outdoor playtime, popcorn, and a movie together!
We’re also grateful for our Connecting Point team, who faithfully provide delicious refreshments and a welcoming atmosphere before each service—thank you for serving so joyfully!
Lastly, we celebrate Pastor Brad, who continues to invest in students through the Ignite! Club at Dinuba High School. We’re thankful for Campus Life and the spaces they create for young people to experience faith and belonging in their schools.

connect to God through prayer

  • Pray for Manuel and Karen Madrid and for healing, peace and wisdom for decisions to be made about health issues; and for Brian Willems.  If you would like to make soup for Brian's special diet as he recovers from surgery, please contact his wife Christine.
  • Pray for those dealing with long-term health issues and cancer treatments.
  • Also remember: Marilyn Chappell and other residents in Palm Village Healthcare, Harold Kruger and others in Sierra View, and Mary Salazar
  • Pray for those who have lost loved ones and those attending the GriefShare support group.
  • Pray for those who are seeking employment.
  • Pray for the undocumented in our community as they navigate life under this administration.
  • Pray for our missionaries: Pablo & Maricela Chavez in Peru, Cecil & Tracy Ramos in Thailand, Jonathan & Joanna Gutierrez in Portugal, and Johnny & Denise Esposito in Cambodia.
  • Pray for peace as violence and war affect so many families and children in Ukraine, Israel, Gaza, in the Middle East, and in parts of Africa.

Connect to Global Impact

Here is an update from MCC for this year's school kit challenge. We packed just over 100 school kits at NLC this year. It's amazing what the body of Christ can accomplish when we work together!

Hello friends,
Thank you for taking part in this year’s MCC School Kit Challenge!
We want to share with you — and we invite you to share with your congregation — what a difference you have helped to make.
Thanks to the work of people like you throughout the U.S. and Canada, we went well above our goal of 25,000 school kits for the 2025 challenge.
Working together, you, your community and other devoted supporters packed ...
29,639 school kits
Each of the 29,639 school kits you shared will be a gift and treasure for a student dreaming of a bright future — and for the loved ones, teachers and community members dreaming alongside them.
And we want to share with you the latest news about the impact that MCC school kits are making right now.

Over the course of three years, MCC partner Help Channel Burundi is working to get school kits into the hands of 60,000 students, many of whom are orphans or come from families who could not otherwise afford basic supplies like pencils and notebooks.
Your generous support is helping to open up new opportunities to these children, and decreasing the chances that they'll need to drop out of school.
This is just one example of how school kits are touching the lives of students and families across the globe.
