PLANNING AHEAD FOR SUMMER
The Elders are preparing to invite 3 NLC young people to be interns at NLC this summer, as well as having the entire NLC CREW youth group participate in Multiply's SOAR Fresno mission/ministry program. Please pray about how you might contribute to helping fund these opportunities for our young people. SOAR Fresno is $200/person. The internships provide for a $3000 scholarship each. Talk with Josh or Jessica Aquino for details.

PRAYER

Praise the Lord for 3 young men from our NLC CREW youth group who are committing their lives to the Lord and following him in baptism, Sunday, April 21st.
Keep our school-age students and teens in prayer. They face internal pressures as well as external challenges many times throughout the day.
Pray for our SEARCH TEAM as they begin their work. Please use the prayer calendar to keep each member in prayer as well as the entire process.
Pray for Doris Siebert who has been at CRMC for more than a week. Her children, Abe Isaak or Martha Sawatzky, can share more details as they are awaiting answers.
Pray for Ron Froese as he slowly heals from back surgery.
Pray for health and peace for: Marilyn Chappell, Paulie Romero, Michelle Perez, and Mary Salazar. Zach Clemmer is asking for prayer to resolve wrist pain.
Remember those dealing with cancer: Elva Cardona's sister, Connie Gomes, Ron Froese's sister-in-law Garinel, Eugene Enns, Carolina Coralles, Lanisha Washington, and Glen Zimmerman.
Pray for our missionaries: Johnny & Denise Esposito in SE Asia, Pablo & Maricela Chavez in Peru, Cecil & Tracy Ramos in Thailand, and Jonathan & Joanna Gutierrez in Portugal.
The NLC Elders have unanimously and wholeheartedly affirmed Jordan Ringhofer, our district minister and a member of NLC, for ministerial ordination. Pray as this significant process begins and as we will have the opportunity as a church to celebrate with him.
Continue praying for an end to war and violence around the world, and for many who are also starving as a result of continuing violence.

UPDATE: Ron Froese tells me his sister-in-law, Garinel, has been placed on hospice. Please keep her and family in prayer.

Also, Cheryl Jackson's mother has been taken off of "imminent" by hospice and is receiving their services in her home.
