Connect to KIDS

I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to teach our wonderful 4-year-olds to first-graders, and I also take great pride in being the leader of early childhood at New Life Community. Every moment spent with my little ones is a special moment; each child shines with their unique personality and embodies a loving, God-fearing spirit.

One of the most special parts of our Sunday morning is prayer time. It's heartwarming to see them openly share their feelings and seek guidance from God. I hold these moments very close to my heart, as they create a safe and nurturing space where they can talk about their loved ones, friends from school, or anything that's on their minds and give it all to God. It’s a beautiful part of our Sunday morning that strengthens their connection to each other and to God.

Another one of our cherished moments from Sunday morning is when we gather to learn our Bible verse of the month. It's such a joy to take turns sharing the verse, and we find a variety of fun and playful ways to express it—whether it's in silly voices, deep tones, high pitches, or even tiny little mouse squeaks! Their playful approach not only brings laughter but also creates a wonderful opportunity for them to engage with the message of God in a memorable way. It warms my heart to see them embrace their silliness while still recognizing and honoring the important teachings.

All the children are so smart and constantly engaging and asking what Jesus is trying to tell us today! I'm forever blessed to spend time with my God-fearing and loving kiddos. They help me everyday in strengthening my faith and I am so proud to be their teacher.
