Connect to Partnering in Prayer

"Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." – James 5:16 (NIV)

As our young people prepare to head to camp, nearly two dozen adults in our church have committed to lifting them up in prayer. This beautiful act of intercession is more than a routine commitment—it is a spiritual covering, a declaration of faith, and a tangible expression of love.
Prayer is not just a private conversation with God; it is also a gift we give to one another. When we pray for someone, we walk alongside them on their journey, carrying their burdens and celebrating their victories. This is what it means to be the body of Christ—supporting, encouraging, and interceding for each other.
As these young people step into a time of spiritual renewal, we pray that their hearts are open to God’s voice, that they experience His presence in a powerful way, and that they return strengthened in their faith. May we continue to uphold them, not just for this moment but throughout their walk with Christ.

  • Who in your life needs your prayers today?
  • How can you intentionally walk alongside someone in their spiritual journey?
  • Take a moment to lift up the young people going to camp, asking God to move in their hearts.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the privilege of prayer. We lift up these young people as they head to camp, asking for Your guidance, protection, and transformation in their hearts. Strengthen those who have committed to praying for them, and let this be a reminder of the power of interceding for one another. Help us to walk faithfully beside each other, encouraging and lifting each other up in love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
