Connect to Embracing a New Season
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” – Isaiah 43:18-19 (NIV)
As the seasons change, there’s a natural invitation to step forward into the new. Whether it’s a new year, a new job, or a fresh start in your personal life, God is always at work, bringing about new beginnings. Isaiah reminds us not to be held back by the past. It’s easy to get stuck in what was, but God is doing something new, and He wants us to recognize and embrace it.
Sometimes, the new season may feel uncertain or even a little daunting. We might question if we're ready or if it’s the right time. But remember, God is already ahead of you, preparing the way. Your challenge today is to let go of what no longer serves you—whether it's regret, fear, or old habits—and open your heart to what God is inviting you into.
As you reflect on your current season, ask yourself: What is God calling me to leave behind in order to step fully into the new thing He has for me? Take time today to let go of one past fear or limitation and choose to step forward with trust in God’s plan for you.
Lord, thank You for the new things You are doing in my life. Help me to release any fear or past mistakes that hold me back. Give me courage to step into the future You have for me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
