connect with God's Word

We had a full and exciting Sunday! A huge thank you to our incredible Sunday morning service team for making the "magic" happen on Time Change Sunday. Our church family also had the special opportunity to pray over John Warkentin as he prepares to head to Peru—please continue to lift him up in prayer!
Meanwhile, our kiddos and volunteers enjoyed a cozy morning in their pajamas, making it an extra fun day. And to top it off, thank you, Pastor Brad, for pouring into our youth and volunteers on Sunday night—we're so grateful for your leadership!

connect to God through prayer

  • Pray for health and strength for Carolina Coralles and Glen Zimmerman.
  • Pray for Amanda Dover, still awaiting a new surgery date, and Joshua Aquino as he is scheduled for surgery on March 19.
  • Pray for Anissa Almaguer and Irene Gonzalez to have good health as they prepare to bring new life into this world!
  • Pray for Ann Enns who is at Palm Village Health Care Center following a stroke on Monday, and for Sandy Sorber as she recovers at home from surgery.
  • Also remember: Marilyn Chappell and other residents in Palm Village Healthcare, Harold Kruger and others in Sierra View, and Mary Salazar
  • Pray for those who have lost loved ones (Karen Madrid's mother Emma, Maria Gonzalez's uncle Raul) and those attending the GriefShare support group.
  • Pray for safety and peace of mind for the students who attend schools in our surrounding communities.
  • Pray for those who are seeking employment.
  • Pray for the undocumented in our community as they navigate life under this new administration.
  • Pray for our missionaries: Pablo & Maricela Chavez in Peru, Cecil & Tracy Ramos in Thailand, Jonathan & Joanna Gutierrez in Portugal, and Johnny & Denise Esposito, who are home before returning to SE Asia.
  • Pray for peace as violence and war affect so many families and children in Ukraine, Israel, Gaza, in the Middle East, and in parts of Africa.

Connect to Griefshare

GriefShare is a support group for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one, no matter if it is a recent loss or if time has passed by. It includes 13 sessions and we are currently on session 5. We are looking to expand to a Spanish edition and Elva Cardona and Martha Sawatzky will be facilitating the groups. Each session is a stand-alone, which means you can come join at any point; information gleaned from previous sessions is not necessary to follow any new concepts presented at the current session. Participants are encouraged, but do not have to participate in group discussions.
We currently have a small group of about 6-8 participants. If you are grieving a loved one, please join us. If you know someone who is grieving the loss of a loved one, consider inviting them, and offering to go with them, coming together as their support person. It is amazing to see how God works, and to see how much healing can take place in a shorter amount of time.
