His Beloved

Did you know you are God’s chosen?!
That means He sees you and is shouting out to the world this truth:
“This beloved child_______(your name)_______is mine!!!
This is how much He cherishes you.
 
Lord, please melt away my brothers and sisters insecurities. May they walk knowing they are chosen and cherished by You. May we breathe in confidence and strength as we breathe out all of the insecurities. May we breathe in Your love that shouts, ‘I am chosen and beloved’ and breathe out the darkness and the lies that say ‘I don’t belong’ along with all our insecurities.
In Jesus Name, AMEN!
 
Can I challenge you to pause and chew on this passage before you just jump into your day?
 
“But you are God’s chosen treasure - priests who are kings, a spiritual “nation” set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light, and now he claims you as his very own. He did this so that you would broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world. 1 Peter 2:9 TPT
 

Lesson 2 Powerless
In Principle 1, we realize we’re not God. We admit we are powerless to control our tendency to do the wrong thing and that our lives have become unmanageable. As soon as we take this step and admit that we are powerless, we start to change. We see that our old ways of trying to control our hurts, hang-ups, and habits didn’t work. They were buried by our denial and held on to with our false power.
